About us

The idea for« tely» arose from the growing need for individual and spontaneous retreats as a result of the significant increase in telephone and video calls. Based on that, an interdisciplinary project team of cabinet maker’s and designers from Superdraft Studio and Girsberger was assembled, which supported the development process since the very beginning.

The project «tely» was initiated by Superdraft Studio during an office refurbishment for one of the largest Swiss companies. Learning from «the new normal» guidelines were defined, based on which first shapes and dimensions were analysed. In the collaboration with Girsberger, a company specialised in developing furniture in cooperation with designers, concept and shape were refined, resulting in a project requirement specification.

The extensive catalogue of standards consisting of user requirements, technology, functionality, durability and sustainability finds its balanced and well-coordinated form in «tely», combined with a passion for design and sense of aesthetics. With the full-scale prototype of the final draft, not only errors got located and rectified but also design, construction and materialisation got further optimised.
